Welcome to Stuart Road Primary Academy, a small single form school with a big community heart. At Stuart Road, we firmly believe that each and every pupil has the potential to flourish and grow academically, emotionally and socially, affording them with the tools to become the global citizens of the future. 

Situated in the Stoke area of Plymouth, Stuart Road Primary is housed in a Victorian building steeped in character and history. It is both my pleasure and privilege to secure the post of Interim Head of School in April 2026. Stuart Road secured a 'strong' and 'expected' grade from Ofsted in February 2026. I am thrilled and excited for the learning and teaching experiences that lay ahead.

We provide a safe, stimulating and inspiring learning environment with the view to enhancing all children in our care to be the best they can be and have the courage to challenge themselves in all aspects of the curriculum
